Description
The Biological Sciences program provides students with a current knowledge base in life sciences, in addition to the skills relevant to a variety of employment opportunities. National biotechnology skills standards are incorporated into the coursework and a student must demonstrate competency with each skill prior to graduation.
Students interested in pursuing a career in the biotechnology industry may choose the Biotechnology concentration. Students choosing this option are likely to find employment as entry level technicians in a variety of commercial and industrial fields including biotechnology companies animal care and research facilities, and agricultural research facilities.
