Description
This program prepares students for careers in mechanical design and CAD drafting by building skills in 2D/3D modeling, engineering drawings, materials, and manufacturing processes. It emphasizes industry tools, GD&T standards, and design for manufacturing to support roles in engineering and production environments.
Some applicable core coursework may include: SolidWorks Essentials for Part Design, SolidWorks Essentials for Assembly Design, Fundamental Principles of GD&T, Design for Manufacturing, Certification Exam: Certified SolidWorks Associate (CSWA) Practice Tests + Exam. Some courses are subject to change.
