Courses from the second paragraph emphasize Python, machine learning, remote sensing, and industry tools like ArcGIS and Google Earth Engine to support data-driven spatial analysis.
Some applicable core coursework may include: GIS with Python for geospatial data analysis, Google Earth Engine for Machine Learning & Change Detection, Core Spatial Data Analysis: Introductory GIS with R and QGIS, ArcPy for Python Developers using ArcGIS Pro, QGIS & Google Earth Engine for Environmental Applications.
