Description
Bridge to Construction Careers is a 10-week, 50-hour training program for ESOL Level 4 learners interested in entering the construction field. Students will learn basic construction skills, workplace safety, industry vocabulary, and math and measurement used on job sites.
This program is designed to support multilingual learners, including immigrants, refugees, asylum seekers, and low-income individuals, who require additional instructional support to successfully enter the workforce
Students will complete OSHA 10 training and have the opportunity to earn OSHA 10 certification. The program also focuses on workplace readiness, including communication, teamwork, and job expectations. Students will receive support with resumes and interview skills to prepare for entry-level employment in construction.

Students who withdraw from the program prior to the start date are eligible for a full refund.
No refunds will be issued once the program has begun.
In the event that the program is canceled by Westbrook Adult Education, students will receive a full refund.
