Description
The Practical Nursing (PN) is a diploma program that prepares the graduate for entry into nursing practice. Nursing is considered an art and science. As a practical nurse you will be expected to reflect and respond to an ever-changing healthcare environment. Practical nurses utilize clinical judgment, quality improvement, informatics, teamwork and collaboration to provide safe, culturally competent patient centered care. As a PN generalist, the PN graduate leads, manages, and provides direct care to individuals, families, and groups across various healthcare environments.
