Description
Our Information Technology (IT) Essentials program was designed to accommodate individuals interested in entering the field of IT - or expanding their current IT career. The program begins by teaching core IT skills to ensure the student is properly prepared to progress into more advanced IT functions. Core topics include areas like computer components, peripherals, PC maintenance, PC performance, hardware, troubleshooting, Windows, Mac, Operating Systems (OS), IT support, and IT careers.
Additional courses and labs prepare students to obtain industry-recognized certifications, including CompTIA A+, which is the standard certification required to enter the field of Information Technology (IT). The program also includes preparation for other industry-recognized certifications including Microsoft Windows and Windows Server certifications.

Refund Policy
Students may receive up to a 100% tuition refund before certification is granted. After certification, refunds are prorated by program days completed. Registration/admin fees are non-refundable. Refunds are issued within 30 days of withdrawal. Textbooks/equipment not issued are fully refundable; software/subscriptions are not. Extenuating cases may qualify for tuition credit. State/federal aid follows respective refund rules.
