Description
The goal of this in-person program is to prepare students to meet requirements to enroll in a
Medical Assistant apprenticeship program in the future. Students focus on reading comprehension, medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and foundational math and receive individualized advising support.
This program helps students build their knowledge and skills to be competitive candidates for a Medical Assistant program. Many PAE graduates go on to enroll at Gray-New Gloucester Adult Education.Students must enroll in a medical assistant program after completion of this pre-apprenticeship to become a Certified Medical Assistant.
