Description
This program provides a solid electrical foundation and equips students with the skills necessary to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, devices, and equipment. Students explore Ohm’s Law, electrical theory, basic circuits, wiring practices, electronics, programmable logic controllers, sensors, motors, motor controls, and instrumentation. They are exposed to standard trade practices and the National Electrical Code. Designed for students interested in becoming licensed electricians, this program provides the courses to meet the State of Maine licensing requirements.
