Description
YCCC’s new nursing program will prepare students to become registered nurses at the associate degree level. Registered nurses are a vital part of healthcare, administering compassionate care in a variety of medical settings. After completing the program, students will be able to take the NCLEX Registered Nurse (RN) licensure examination and obtain employment.
*Acceptance into the Nursing program is on a competitive basis. Successful completion of the prerequisites and admission requirements does not guarantee acceptance into the Nursing program. Students who are working on their prerequisites should apply to the Health Studies/Pre-Nursing Program. Upon acceptance into the Nursing program, students will receive an acceptance letter listing their start date and will receive additional information about starting the Nursing program.
