Description
Throughout the program, students will gain in-depth knowledge of anatomy, venipuncture techniques, and safety protocols, ensuring the highest standards of patient care. Hands-on training will be emphasized, providing students with real-world experience in various phlebotomy methods, equipment handling, and specimen collection. By the end of this course, participants will be well-prepared to take on roles in hospitals, clinics, blood donation centers, and laboratories, with a strong understanding of ethical practices and patient interactions. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be prepared to sit for the NHA national certification exam.
Course Objectives:
Understand the anatomy and physiology relevant to phlebotomy. Master the techniques for safe and effective blood collection. Develop skills in patient communication and care.
Learn about infection control and safety protocols in the laboratory setting.
