A+ Candidates will be better prepared to troubleshoot, problem-solve and understand a wide variety of issues ranging from networking and operating systems to mobile devices and security. A+ supports the ability to connect users to the data they need to do their jobs regardless of the devices being used.

This course is designed for individuals who are interested in obtaining a job as an entry-level IT technician. This course is also designed for students who are seeking the CompTIA A+ certification and who want to prepare for the CompTIA A+ Core 1 220-1001 Certification Exam and the CompTIA A+ Core 2 220-1002 Certification Exam.

This program blends our live/online training with self-study to aid students in studying for their certification exams.

Students receive the Live-Online A+ 5-Day Instructor Live-Online Course and the also receive the Self-Study course which gives them the flexibility to go back and watch and review items from the Live Class. Students also receive a practice test and an exam voucher with free retake option for each exam. A+ has two exams so students are eligible for up to 4 exam vouchers.

Prerequisite:  This program is aimed at those considering a career in IT and computer-related fields. Consequently, there are no special prerequisites to start this course. We have made the assumption that you don't know much about how computers or software work, or even how to use them. Some experience with using a keyboard and mouse will be helpful but is not essential.
