Instructional Program (CIP)
Description
The emphasis will be on safety (covered in the first two sessions), trouble-shooting problems, machine settings, basic metal joints and how to weld them, welding processes, basic hand tool requirements, and power tools that are used in the trade.
In addition, there will be instruction on metallurgy (basic structural steel properties, and the identification of such steel, hot rolled or cold rolled).
