Description
Medical Assistants are responsible for many medical office tasks from administrative to technical and scientific duties. CMA’s must also possess strong customer service skills. Some of the job duties include cleaning and dressing wounds, taking blood samples, administering medications, taking vitals, preparing and administering EKGs, obtaining a patients history and providing patient education, and assisting physicians during examinations and procedures.
This is an in-demand training program with an extensive application process which includes a formal adult education intake, interview and pre-program job shadow. Please contact Adult Education for additional enrollment information.
