Description
The Advanced Manufacturing Technologies program focuses on how companies manage,
improve, and automate their core manufacturing and production processes. If a
student does not already have a thorough understanding of these core processes,
applicable electives are available and can be taken as pre-requisites (for details on this 4-
part “Manufacturing Processes and Sciences” series please see our “Production
Technologies” program).
In this program, you will start off learning skills and concepts in the
emerging field of Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing). Through
our partnership with the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME)
you will have the opportunity to test and receive an industry-
recognized Additive Manufacturing Certification from the SME.
