Description
This course prepares designers to produce drawings of mechanical parts, components of mechanical systems, and mechanisms. MCAD and the importance of technically correct drawings and dseigns based on current standards are emphasized. Course work includes mechanical drafting, MCAD, and proper drawing documentation. The use of proper dimensioning and tolerance techniques is stressed. Course utilizes SolidWorks, Pro/Engineer and AutoCAD Inventor software tools. SolidWorks certification included.
