Description
This workforce training program moves students from the classroom to employment in twelve weeks. Students are co-enrolled in the 60-hour WorkReady program along with the 90-hour construction skills program that includes OSHA-10 Construction and RRP training. Employer presentations are provided along with work site visits, as appropriate. Students participate in eight weeks of work experience with local employers. During this time, students are able to share questions from the work experience, for review and additional teaching, with the construction skills instructor. Upon successful completion, students transition to employment and on-the-job training.
