Description

The 600 clock hour, Therapeutic Massage program is is taught with synchronous online distance education theory classes and in-person/on-campus instruction, testing and practice.


Graduates will receive  a certificate of completion that meets the requirements for the MBLEx national entry level exam for students who elect to take it  and can be used to apply for licensing as a Massage Therapist in the State of Maine.


The program provides education in therapeutic massage with a foundation of Swedish massage and concentration of deep tissue, trigger point and advanced techniques, with emphasis on stress injuries and injury recovery based massage. 


The end result is a training that is rich in content and stresses professional development needed for a successful private practice or working in a clinical setting.
