Auto/Automotive Mechanic/Technician. An instructional program that prepares individuals to apply technical knowledge and skills to repair, service, and maintain all types of automobiles, trucks, vans and buses. Includes instruction in the diagnosis of malfunctions in and repair of engines; fuel, electrical, cooling, and brake systems; and drive train and suspension systems.
