Description
With a focus on residential dwellings and light commercial structures, the Building Construction Technology program provides comprehensive training in the development of carpentry and related skills. Through a combination of classroom study, assigned shop activities and field projects, students obtain practical experience and become broadly familiar with methods and standards commonly associated with the construction industry.
Additional instruction includes computer aided drafting, surveying, cost estimating, and safety and health standards.
