Job Description
Mercy Hospital d/b/a Northern Light Mercy Hospital has opening in Portland, ME for Physician - Family Medicine. Provide comprehensive care to adults ages 18 and older. Examine patients, order diagnostic tests, make diagnoses, and prescribe treatments for patients with a wide variety of illnesses that can occur in any of the body systems. Conduct routine checkups, health risk assessments, immunizations and screening tests, and provide personalized counseling on the unique healthcare needs of patients. Refer patients to specialists and keep up to date with new developments in the field of family medicine. Requires Doctor of Medicine Degree, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, or foreign degree equivalent; 36-month residency in family medicine or related, or equivalent foreign training in general practice or related field; Maine Medical License, or eligible. 40 hours/week; Salary=$268,750.
