at Four Seasons Powersports, LLC in Greene, Maine, United States

Job Description

Experienced Automotive Technician

Four Seasons Powersports
Greene, Maine

We are looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our growing team.

We’re a busy, locally owned repair business serving our community with automotive and powersports service. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, knows how to diagnose problems rather than simply replace parts, and can work independently while being part of a team.

What You’ll Do
  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues
  • Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and preventative services
  • Perform automotive diagnostics using scan tools and other diagnostic equipment
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, drivability, and starting/charging system problems
  • Perform brake, suspension, steering, exhaust, cooling, and engine-related repairs
  • Complete state inspections and inspection-related repairs
  • Perform oil changes, fluid services, and other scheduled maintenance
  • Accurately identify needed repairs and communicate findings
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Complete quality repairs efficiently and professionally
  • Work independently while communicating effectively with the rest of the team
  • Follow proper safety procedures and manufacturer repair specifications
What We’re Looking For
  • Several years of professional automotive repair experience
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Valid Maine State Inspection License
  • Own professional tools
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Reliable, dependable, and able to show up ready to work
  • Good communication and customer-service skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy shop environment
What We Offer
  • Pay based on experience and skill level
  • Full-time position on a Monday - Thursday schedule. Some half day Fridays may be required, no weekends ever!
  • All major holidays paid for
  • Accumulate PTO from day 1
  • Opportunities to utilize shop for personal needs after hours
  • Steady work in a growing business
  • A variety of work, so you won't be doing the same repair every day
  • A team environment where your experience and ideas are valued
  • Opportunity to work across both automotive and powersports
  • A locally owned business that values quality workmanship and treating customers right
The Bottom Line

We're looking for a technician who can think through a problem, diagnose it correctly, fix it right, and stand behind their work.

If you're the kind of technician who doesn't need someone looking over your shoulder all day, takes pride in a job well done, and wants to work with a team that actually appreciates skilled tradespeople, we'd like to hear from you.
