Job Description
Description
Do you love the fresh scent of balsam? Are you a lover of Christmas? Then this might just be the job for you! Imagine you get to pop in your earbuds, zone out, and craft some Christmas magic. And better yet, the harder you work, the more you get paid! The Whitney Wreath environment is like no other during our wreath season. Music playing, friends working together, laughter ringing throughout, and the glorious factor that hard work does indeed pay off.
Whitney Wreath is looking for seasonal Wreath & Centerpiece Makers to join our team for the 2026 season! This is a hands-on, fast-paced position where you'll help turn fresh Maine balsam into the wreaths and centerpieces our customers look forward to every year. This is a piecework job, so the more wreaths you create, the more you get paid.
Our job of bringing Christmas joy begins in November, and shift times can be Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with the potential for Saturdays if seasonal demand requires it. If you can only work specific days, no worries! We are flexible and willing to work with your schedule.
What You'll Do
As a Wreath & Centerpiece Maker, you'll work with fresh balsam foliage to assemble and finish our products according to Whitney Wreath's quality standards.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Arranging balsam tip bunches and attaching them to metal wreath rings using a clamp machine
- Shaping and securing evergreen to create wreaths that are even, compact, sturdy, and aesthetically pleasing
- Assembling fresh balsam centerpieces with patience and attention to detail
- Decorating wreaths and centerpieces according to established guidelines and company standards
- Inspecting your own work to ensure products meet our standards for sturdiness, uniformity, and presentation
- Working efficiently while maintaining quality in a fast-paced seasonal production environment
