Job Description

Cuddledown is looking for full-time Retail Sales Associates for the Outlet Store located in Freeport, ME. The Retail Sales Associate will ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service. Will also help maintain selling floor appearance and restock sales floor when needed. 

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every customer, answering questions and assisting them with merchandise selection.
• Demonstrate professional etiquette with customers, both in person and on the phone.
• Build relationships with customers to ensure long-term business growth.
• Develop expert product knowledge to assist customers with product attributes, benefits and care.
• Assist co-workers and the management staff to achieve store and company goals.
• Store Appearance: Ensure store cleanliness by vacuuming carpets and dusting shelves, tables, and counters.
• Display and arrange store merchandise neatly in order to sell product. 
• Ensure that promotional and product signage is correct and fully visible.
• Complete sales transactions.  Creating and/or updating customer account records.
• Complete merchandise retail adjustments for sale events and ensure seasonal accuracy.

Requirements:

• Demonstrate accuracy in processing transactions and overall register operations.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be comfortable working directly with customers.
• Ability to lift at least 20 pounds.
• Ability to work varied store hours, including some weekends and holidays.
