Job Description
Position Summary
- To provide counseling, intervention and/or education to clients in a professional supportive manner. Our therapists draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches to aid in the counseling process including, but not limited to: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Narrative Therapy.
- Hybrid position - can discuss at interview.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate needs of clients and provision of diagnostic/preventive and treatment services including individual therapy.
- Create individualized care plans for each client.
- Provide clinically appropriate treatment based on mental health assessment and treatment plans.
- Works in collaboration with other health/mental health professionals and provides consultation to the treatment team regarding patient/family social and environmental needs.
- Maintain records of treatments and services through Therap, Acentra Health, and other confidential platforms in an accurate and timely manner.
- Comply with all State laws, MaineCare regulations, Program Integrity and mental/behavioral health regulations.
