The Senior Manager, Fair Banking Compliance, Program Risk Management & Reporting provides leadership for key Compliance Management System components within Fair Banking Compliance, including risk assessments, issues management, policies and procedures, training, and reporting, to strengthen program effectiveness and support consistent regulatory adherence across the team.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Lead the review and enhancement of Board-approved governance documents, ensuring alignment with evolving regulatory requirements, supervisory expectations, and enterprise standards.

+ Oversee the development of enterprise-wide and team-specific fair banking training, strengthening regulatory awareness and reinforcing a strong compliance culture across the organization.

+ Manage the end-to-end issues management lifecycle for high-risk audit, regulatory, and self-identified findings, including corrective action oversight, sustainability activities, and preparation of executive-level closure packages.

+ Develop clear, concise, and executive-ready communications, including closure packages, governance updates, Board reporting materials, and senior management presentations.

+ Produce fair access/ fair banking reporting and risk insights for internal stakeholders, executive committees, and regulators to support transparent oversight and informed decision-making.

+ Lead the Fair Banking Compliance team’s participation in enterprise risk assessment activities, evaluating fair access/ fair banking risks across the organization.

+ Oversee governance and risk assessment processes, including execution and ongoing enhancement of the standalone Fair Lending Risk Assessment methodology to strengthen the identification, assessment, and reporting of fair lending risk.

+ Provide leadership, guidance, and development support to other team members, fostering a high-performing environment that delivers quality, regulator-ready work.

Job Description Summary

The Senior Compliance Business Oversight Manager provides advice, support and objective guidance to assigned portfolio, business or function on development and maintenance of all aspects of Compliance/Center of Excellence programs in line with the Bank’s risk philosophy and strategic direction.

Depth & Scope:

+ Recognized as top level expert within the company and requires significant in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in a complex field and knowledge of broader related areas

+ Senior specialist providing advisory services to executives, business segment leaders and governs the requirements for own work

+ Integrates knowledge of the enterprise function’s or business segment’s overarching strategy in leading program design, policy formulation or operating standards within one or more areas of expertise

+ Anticipates emerging business trends and regulatory/risk issues as a basis for recommending large-scale product, technical, functional or operations improvements

+ Serves as a source of expert advice to senior management in field of specialty

+ Advises on execution strategy and leads the development and deployment of functional programs or initiatives within their own field or across multiple specialties

+ Solves unique and ambiguous problems with broad impact; typically oversees standards, controls and operating methods that have significant financial and operational impact within the context of their own field

+ Requires innovative thinking to develop new solutions

+ Impacts the technical or functional direction and resource allocation of part of an enterprise function or business segment

+ Works within general policies and industry guidelines

+ Engages stakeholders to take action; serves as a source of expert advice, influences change; frames information in a broader organizational context

Education & Experience:

+ Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience

+ 10+ years of experience

Desired Skills and Experience:

+ Subject matter expertise in fair banking, fair access, and consumer protection laws, rules, and regulations, such as the Fair Housing Act (FHA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), UDAAP/UDAP, Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), Military Lending Act (MLA), Servicemembers Civil Relief Act (SCRA), and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), supported by a strong understanding of Compliance Management System (CMS) principles .

+ Experience managing Compliance Management System components including compliance risk assessments, reporting, training, and issues management.

+ Strong written communication skills, with demonstrated ability to develop executive-ready closure packages.

+ Experience preparing presentation materials to be presented to executive management, governance committees, regulators, and auditors.

+ Proven people leadership, coaching, and talent development experience.

+ Strong relationship-building, influencing, and constructive challenge skills across business lines and control functions.

+ Highly organized, deadline-driven professional with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a demanding, fast-paced environment.

+ Proactive, results-oriented, and adaptable leadership approach.

+ CRCM preferred.

Customer Accountabilities:

+ Proactively advises the business of new and changed Compliance regulatory and/or policy changes

+ Formulates relevant and meaningful data analysis, leveraging advanced modeling and analytics, and leads on the interpretation of complex business issues, generates multifaceted insights and identifies opportunities to address business regulatory requirements and issues
