at Insight Global in Bath, Maine, United States

Job Description

Job Description

A large industrial employer is seeking a Lead Nurse Practitioner to serve as the clinical leader of its updated Occupational Health Clinic supporting a 8000 employee Ship Yard. This role was created after leadership transitioned departmental management to a non-clinical operations leader, creating a need for a provider who can drive clinical excellence, mentor staff, and represent medical across the organization. Reporting to the Medical Department Manager, you will oversee and develop a team of 2-3 Nurse Practitioners while maintaining a manageable patient load of 4-8 appointments per day.

Responsibilities include treating work-related injuries and illnesses, conducting occupational health evaluations and medical surveillance exams, providing clinical guidance to NPs, participating in safety meetings, EHS discussions, accommodation review boards, and interdisciplinary committees, and identifying opportunities to improve workforce health and preventative care initiatives. This position offers significant visibility with Safety and Operations leadership and the opportunity to shape future clinic programs.

Why people are interested: New 8,000 sq. ft. clinic, dedicated parking, no traditional healthcare billing, no weekends, no holidays, very limited on-call responsibilities, strong work-life balance, and long-term leadership growth potential.
