Eastern Maine Medical Center d/b/a Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center has opening for Hospitalist in Bangor, ME. Multiple jobs available. The duties and responsibilities of the Hospitalist position will include those duties normally associated with a Hospitalist, namely clinical care of hospital and perihospital patients, interaction with and clinical oversight of allied health personnel as indicated for delivery of high-quality patient care. The Hospitalist will perform patient examinations and advise them on treatment options. They will devise care plans and prescribe medication and treatment regimens. Will supervise 9 Advanced Practice Providers (such as Nurse Practitioners: 29-1171.00 and Physician Assistants 29-1071). Requires Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, or foreign degree equivalent; 36-month residency in internal medicine, family medicine, or related, or equivalent completion certificate; and Maine medical license or eligible.
