Quality Control Tech – Food Manufacturing Excellence in Rockland

Pay Rate: $29/hr + $1.50 Shift Differential

Schedule: Rotating Days & Nights

Assignment Length: Long-Term Temp

Are you an experienced Quality Control professional ready to make an impact? Our client in Rockland is hiring for a Quality Control Tech to support production floor quality and food safety initiatives. This position pays $29/hr + shift differential and is a long-term assignment with rotating shifts between both days & nights.

This is a hands-on, production-floor quality role where you’ll work side-by-side with manufacturing teams to ensure top-tier food safety and compliance – perfect for someone who enjoys real-time testing, monitoring, and process improvement in a fast-paced environment .

Typical daily duties:

+ Monitor and enforce food safety and quality standards (GMP, HACCP, FSMA, SQF/BRC)

+ Operate and monitor extraction line quality control processes

+ Perform routine quality checks on raw materials and in-process production

+ Maintain accurate documentation and records for all quality control activities

What we’re looking for:

+ 2+ years of experience in food manufacturing quality assurance or quality control

+ Ability to work both days and nights on a rotating basis

+ Certifications (HACCP, PCQI, SQF Practitioner) preferred

+ Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field preferred

+ Additional certifications (ISO 9001, ISO 22002) are a plus
