Job Description
Are you an experienced housekeeping leader who takes pride in creating exceptional guest experiences through cleanliness, organization, and teamwork? The Atlantic Oceanside Hotel and Event Center is seeking a motivated and hands-on Housekeeping Manager to lead our housekeeping department and help maintain the high standards our guests have come to expect.
In this full-time, year-round role, you’ll oversee the daily operations of the housekeeping department, including guest rooms, public areas, laundry operations, and team development. You’ll coach and support your team, inspect rooms, manage schedules and supplies, and work closely with other departments to ensure every guest enjoys a clean, comfortable, and memorable stay. This position is ideal for a positive leader who enjoys developing others, solving problems, and leading by example in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Position Details:Schedule: Full-Time, Year-Round. Shifts vary and include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as business demands require.
Location: Atlantic Oceanside Hotel and Event Center
Pay: Starting at *$1,250 per week, based on experience

Key Responsibilities:+ Lead the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring guest rooms and public areas consistently meet company cleanliness and quality standards.
+ Recruit, train, coach, schedule, and motivate housekeeping team members while fostering a positive and productive work environment.
+ Perform daily room inspections, ensuring rooms are guest-ready and meet brand and company expectations before arrival.
+ Assist with cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed during busy periods or staffing shortages.
+ Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, concerns, and service recovery situations.
+ Coordinate with the Front Desk, Maintenance, and Laundry departments to ensure efficient daily operations.
+ Manage housekeeping inventories, order supplies, and monitor departmental expenses.
+ Ensure housekeeping equipment is properly maintained and arrange repairs when necessary.
+ Maintain accurate housekeeping records, productivity reports, inspection logs, lost and found records, and departmental documentation.
+ Promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company policies.
+ Foster a culture focused on teamwork, accountability, continuous improvement, and exceptional guest service.
Skills & Requirements:+ Previous hotel housekeeping experience required.
+ Prior housekeeping supervisory or management experience strongly preferred.
+ Proven ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop a team.
+ Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
+ Comfortable using computers and completing reports, schedules, and inventory tracking.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical demands of housekeeping, including walking, bending, lifting, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
+ Flexible schedule with availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Performance Measurement:Success in this role will be measured by department cleanliness scores, guest satisfaction, team engagement and retention, inspection results, operational efficiency, and your ability to develop a positive, high-performing housekeeping team.
