Hours Per Week: 40.00
Work Schedule: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Summary:
Under the supervision of the Materials Management Supervisor, the Materials Specialist III is responsible for the management of Cardiology/Perioperative Service-specific products (inventory, non-stock, consignment, etc.) and/or Perpetual Inventory locations to meet supply demand and requirements. Responsible for oversight of organization of supplies, receipt/replenishment/put away of goods, accurate/timely/proactive maintenance and use of ERP system. The incumbent performs duties and tasks in accordance with performance standards established for the job. The incumbent is responsible for participation in and completion of all patient safety initiatives appropriate to the position.
Responsibilities:
· All Requirements of the Materials Specialist I and II Job Descriptions, and:
o Coding of A/P invoices as needed (I.E. Mayo Freight).
o Expedite orders due to product issue and backorder management.
o Assist A/P with billing issue resolution.
o Analyze and correct Invoiced Not Received (INR) reporting.
o Communicate changes and issues to Supply Chain Analytics Department.
o Can perform and train on all MSCM Handheld and Server functions.
o Must be able to train at the Level I and II levels of the Materials Specialist position.
o Preform Recall functions and documentation.
o Provide usage reports through CSF and/or MSCM.
o Provide coverage of Supervisory staff based on need.
o Must be able to provide coverage for month-end and year-end closings.
o Ability to train “New” Requisition Self-Service Requesters.
o Set-Up new office supply Vendor users.
o Provides data analysis functions and makes supply level adjustments based on the information.
o Ability to provide a deep dive into product usage.
o May be expected to perform duties at a higher or lower level for short term coverage.
o Other Duties as assigned
