Job Description

Position Summary

Seacoast Scaffold & Equipment is seeking motivated, safety-focused Scaffold Builders to join our growing team. Scaffold Builders are responsible for the erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling of scaffolding systems on commercial, industrial, and construction projects throughout New England.

This position requires individuals who are dependable, physically fit, comfortable working at heights, and committed to maintaining the highest safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, erect, modify, and dismantle various scaffold systems, including frame, system, suspended, and specialty scaffolding.
• Load, unload, and transport scaffold materials to and from project sites.
• Read and interpret scaffold plans, drawings, and work instructions.
• Safely use hand tools, power tools, and rigging equipment.
• Conduct pre-use inspections of scaffold components and identify damaged or unsafe materials.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Work effectively as part of a crew under the direction of a Foreman or Lead Scaffold Builder.
• Perform material handling and housekeeping duties to maintain safe work areas.
• Assist with inventory management and organization of scaffold equipment.
• Attend required safety meetings and training programs.
