Job Description
Summary
- Working under limited supervision, the Business System Analyst will work closely with senior analysts, IT leadership, and business users, the Business Systems Analyst II helps document processes, troubleshoot system issues, perform data analysis, and contribute to technology-driven process improvements. This position is critical in ensuring that business systems remain accurate, reliable, and aligned with departmental needs.

Responsibilities:
General ERP/System Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day functional support for the company’s ERP/MRP system (Infor Syteline) and other business applications.
- Troubleshoot user issues, identify root causes, and coordinate solutions or escalations to senior team members.
- Assist with configuration, testing, and validation of ERP changes, upgrades, or module deployments.
- Perform data audits, corrections, and validation to ensure accuracy and consistency across business systems.
- Create or modify basic reports, queries, and dashboards to support operational teams.
- Document business processes, workflows, SOPs, and user training materials.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance system usability, accuracy, and business process efficiency.
- Provide training and guidance to end users to promote consistent adoption of best practices.
Education & Experience:
- Required: 2+ years of relevant experience in business systems, ERP support, or IT/business operations.
- Required: 2+ years of Info Syteline experience. Foundational understanding of ERP systems.
- Basic familiarity with:
- SQL querying or related data/reporting tools
- Microsoft SSRS or similar reporting platforms
- Manufacturing operations, materials management, or supply chain workflows
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a willingness to learn advanced system functionality.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non‑technical users.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across teams and work effectively with users at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and data validation.
Work Setting:
General office setting with typical moderate noise levels in a temperature controlled environment. Operates office equipment (computer, fax, copier, phone) as required to perform essential job functions.
