Central Maine Healthcare (CMH), a member of Prime Healthcare Foundation, is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving approximately 400,000 residents across central, western, and midcoast Maine through a network of more than 40 primary and specialty care locations. The system includes Central Maine Medical Center (CMMC) in Lewiston, a 250-bed, not-for-profit regional referral hospital that is home to the region’s only Cancer Care Center, an orthopedic ambulatory surgery center, and the Central Maine Heart and Vascular Institute. Responsibilities

+ Perform computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures according to physician orders and radiology protocols

+ Produce high-quality diagnostic CT images while maintaining radiation safety standards

+ Prepare and position patients for CT scans, verifying patient identity and explaining procedures

+ Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment to ensure optimal image quality and safety

+ Assist Radiologists and physicians during diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures

+ Process and transmit CT images to PACS for interpretation and storage

+ Monitor patients during procedures and respond to patient care needs

+ Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records

+ Follow infection control, radiation safety, and hospital compliance standards

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.

2. Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment is required.

3. Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.

4. Radiology/ CT license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.

5. ARRT-CT Certification is required

6. Must possess and maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.

7. Proficient computer skills.
