Job Description
Essential Responsibilities
- Continual keen awareness of surroundings in a fast-paced environment to prevent any potential accidents with other equipment, vehicles or pedestrians.
- Safely and efficiently move lumber from various locations in the yard to others.
- Complete daily Inspection Sheet of equipment, prior to operation. Report any equipment issues.
- Observe and follow all safety protocols at all times. Assist as part of a team to keep the mill yard a safe and clean environment at all times.
- Arrive to work on-time, daily, prepared for the day’s work.

- Loaders/Forklifts
Working Conditions
- Preliminary in loader or outdoors in weather
- Noisy environment
Essential Requirements
- Proven reliability (on-time and consistently works scheduled shifts)
- Experience in safe Forklift Operation
- Ability to follow established procedures and practices
- A strong commitment to all health and safety guidelines
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs floor to waist; twist, reach, climb and bend. Sitting for long periods of time.
- Satisfactory pre-employment physical exam and drug screening.
