Job Title: Remediation Technician

Pay: $22.00 per hour (Temp-to-Hire)
Job Summary: Arc Labor Group is seeking experienced, hardworking individuals to join the front lines of property recovery. Utilize your restoration expertise when disasters strike to stabilize properties, develop drying plans, and execute complex mitigation projects to help local families and businesses recover.
Compensation Structure:
- $22.00/hr - Skilled Technician: Advanced emergency restoration, structural drying, and mitigation execution.
Responsibilities:
- Advanced Mitigation: Respond to emergency calls, assess property damage, and perform water extraction, structural drying, and mitigation services in strict accordance with IICRC standards.
- Project Execution: Develop effective drying plans, monitor progress to ensure moisture goals are met, and safely remove damaged building materials while thoroughly decontaminating affected spaces.
- Documentation & Communication: Accurately document job progress through photos, moisture readings, and detailed notes using industry software, while communicating professionally with clients, adjusters, and internal teams.
Requirements:
- Experience & Certification: Prior experience in restoration, mitigation, or construction is required. IICRC WRT certification is highly preferred (or a willingness to obtain it immediately).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform hands-on physical labor in varying environments, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate hand and power tools proficiently. Agency-supplied tools are available for use on-site.
- Tech-Savvy & Reliable: Must possess an acceptable driving record, dependable attendance, and the ability to navigate smartphone apps (Proven Jobs, Encircle, Docusketch) for onsite documentation.
