Job Description
Period of Intended Employment: 06/15/2026-04/15/2027.
1. Must have a satisfactory understanding and knowledge of electrical over hydraulics functions in
mechanical equipment.
2. Must be able to make minor repairs and adjustments to equipment and perform daily maintenance
on equipment.
3. Must be able to operate a chainsaw.
4. Must be at least 18 years of age and have six months of referenced, paid experience as a
fellerbuncher operator.
5. Must be in good health and physical condition and be able to work outdoors in adverse weather
conditions.
6. Must be able to read, understand, interpret, and execute harvest prescriptions issued by forester,
landowner, and/or employer.
7. Must have a compatible understanding and knowledge of tree species.
8. Must be able to exercise proper felling techniques and promptly determine the most beneficial
selection of cutting lengths.
9. Must abide by all employer, landowner, and OSHA regulations as they relate to the forestry
industry.
