Job Description
Period of Intended Employment: 06/15/2026-04/15/2027.
1. Must be able to perform general maintenance on heavy logging equipment.
2. Must be fully knowledgeable of all-round mechanics and hydraulics.
3. Must be able to weld adequately using different welding equipment and techniques.
4. Must be able to manage the company's preventative maintenance program.
5. Mustbe at least 18 years of age.
6. Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable by the employer's insurance carrier.
7. Must have 24 months of referenced, paid experience as a Logging Equipment Mechanic.
8. Must be in good health and good physical condition.
9. Must be able to work outdoors in adverseweather conditions.
10. Mechanic will be responsible for troubleshooting equipment malfunctions in the field and
issuing a diagnosis on the repair time frame.
11. Must have thorough knowledge of electric over hydraulics and diesel over electric.
