Job Description
H.E. Callahan Construction is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team. This entry-level role is designed for someone who wants to build a long-term career in construction management and learn how projects truly run — from preconstruction through closeout — with a clear path toward Project Manager.

What You'll Do
You will work directly with Project Managers and Superintendents to support active construction projects. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with subcontractor buyout and scope review
- Tracking submittals, RFIs, and project documentation in Procore
- Supporting cost tracking and cost-to-complete updates
- Preparing meeting agendas and distributing minutes
- Coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers
- Reviewing project drawings and specifications
- Supporting project closeout documentation
- Assisting with scheduling and milestone tracking
- Supporting general project and office coordination as needed
- Provide estimating and preconstruction support as needed
- Performing other job duties as required to support the project team and company operations
You will gain exposure to budget management, risk identification, subcontractor coordination, owner communication, and field operations.

- Proficiency in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Project, etc.)
- Willingness to learn Procore and Bluebeam
