Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (consistent schedule

Position: Patient Service Specialist (PSS) - 6 months of medical clerical experience requiredAbout the Role
MaineHealth Cardiology Lewiston is seeking a dedicated Patient Service Specialist (PSS) to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and families, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment. You'll play a vital part in coordinating patient care by managing scheduling, registration, and administrative tasks that keep our cardiology practice running smoothly.Key Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and compassion

Manage patient scheduling, check-in, and registration processes

Handle phone calls, messages, and appointment coordination

Support providers and clinical staff with administrative needs

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Provide clear communication and assistance to patients regarding appointments and services
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
License/Certifications: N/A
Experience: Six months of medical office experience required.
Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Proficient computer skills.
