Job Description
JSK, LLC, dba The Clam Shack located in Kennebunk, Maine in York County: Temporary, Full-time, 04/01/2026-10/31/2026; (11) Openings. 40 hours p/week, 5 days per week, days and shifts may vary, 9am to 5pm, and/or 1pm-9pm. Will train to prepare, season, and cook chowders, meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items in a restaurant to the specifications of the chef. Maintains cleanliness of the work area and equipment. $22.25 p/hour or $33.38 p/hour for overtime as it may be available. No education or prior work experience is required. On-the-job training is provided. Transportation (including meals and, to the extent necessary, lodging) to the place of employment will be provided, or its cost to workers reimbursed, if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 p/day during travel to a maximum of $68 p/day with receipts. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Employers will use a single work week for computing wages starting Monday at 12:01 am and ending Sunday at 11:59 pm and the employee will be paid on Tuesday (weekly) by company check. H-2B workers will be provided with reimbursement by company check during the first workweek for visa, visa processing and related costs, except passport costs. All deductions required by law will be deducted weekly. Lodging may be available through employer. If housing is provided by employer, employee cost for housing is $125 p/week by payroll deduction. Housing is optional. Transportation is not provided to worksite.
