Designed for English Language Learners
Module 2: Personal Support Specialist for Pre-Apprentices
Includes:
- Continued Language Immersion
- Anatomy & Physiology
- Increased Skill Building for PSS level support of clients
- Job shadowing (Students must have current immunization by April 1, 2023 to participate)
Successful completion: must pass final exam
Upon completion, students will have access to our healthcare partners for employment opportunities and designed to work around their continued classroom schedule.
Will need to purchase school scrubs with entry to the class (instructor will discuss)
7 weeks Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, 12:00-5:30
PSS = Direct care in homes and residential care facilities.
*Must complete Module 1 for admission
