Description
become part of a lifelong career in financial banking institutions! Students are co-enrolled in the WorkReady program along with the Todays Teller curriculum.
The pre-course, 8 weeks in length, 6 hours per week, will prepare learners interested in the teller positions in the areas of Numeracy, Digital Literacy, Financial Vocabulary, and Basics of Customer Service. Upon successful completion they will move into the American Banking Institute certification training.
Students participate in 12 weeks of work experience with local employers. Employer presentations are provided along with lab and work site visits. During this time, students are able to share questions from the work experience, for review and additional teaching, with the construction skills instructor. Upon successful completion, students will be eligible for interviews with area banking institutions and may transition to employment and on-the-job training.
