Description

Computer Support Specialist Level 1 is the first level in the Computer Support Specialist Program.  Students have the potential eligibility for Micro-credentials/badges in partnership with UMS.  Level 1 or approval of the instructor is required to enroll in the Computer Support Specialist Level 2.


Level 1 is an introduction and foundation which includes Academic Prerequisites as needed, Workplace Employability Skills, Digital Literacy (IC3 Certification).  


Computer Support Specialist Level 2 is Training and Practice and demonstrates workplace/employability competencies, CompTIA A+ Certification, and secured applied learning opportunity.  Level 1 and Level 2 or approval of the instructor in required to enroll in the Computer Support Specialist Level 3.


Level 3 is Applied Learning feedback which may include internships jobs, work-based learning, experiential learning, apprenticeships, TestOut CE Pro.
