Description
Administrative medical assistants are skilled multi-taskers who direct the flow of patients through an office. Effective patient flow allows the practice to operate efficiently, increase revenue, and provide a positive experience for the patient.
Their duties can include scheduling appointments, entering demographic and insurance information into practice software, managing patient check-in and check-out, answering phone calls, filing and retrieving paper records, maintaining electronic records, composing correspondence, performing daily financial practices, assigning medical codes and processing insurance claims.
Upon completion of this course you will be prepared for the Certified Medical Administrative Assistant (CMAA) national certification exam offered by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). This course includes a voucher which covers the fee of the exam.

ed2go offers a 12 month, equal payment, installment plan which covers the entire cost of the program and any included materials, less the down payment. Down payments range from $1 - $99; interest rates are set between 9% and 11%. Both down payment and interest rate are determined by the borrower's FICO score. Military Tuition Assistance and Government Funding may also be available.
Refund Policy
Refunds requested within 10 days of the date listed as the Start Date in the ed2go Student Center, 100% of the tuition shall be refunded, provided no more than 50% of the program has been completed and all materials are returned in as-new condition at the student's expense within 10 days of the Materials Return Instructions email sent to the student. Cost of materials not received or those than cannot be returned (software, memberships, vouchers, sponsorships) not refundable.
