Course Outcomes
At the conclusion of this course, students will be able to: 1. Accurately perform and document routine clinical procedures according to current office protocol. 2. Collect, process, and test diagnostic specimens. 3. Apply industry standards of quality control and safety principles in the workplace. 4. Maintain legal and ethical standards and confidentiality for patient privacy. 5. Effectively model verbal, nonverbal, and written communication principles and skills in the workplace. 6. Demonstrate professionalism through attitude, organization and time management skills, and attire. Students are co-enrolled in the 100-hour customized WorkReady program, which includes sector-specific healthcare curriculum and medical terminology.Students learn the soft and hard skills to become fully employed by participating in workforce preparedness activities, including: resume and cover letter writing, mock interviews, conflict resolution role plays, etc
