Description

Both Lake Region Adult and and Gray/New Gloucester Adult Ed will be offering CCMA courses after the first of the year. This program trains students to assist physicians by performing functions related to the clinical responsibilities of a medical office. For students who want to prepare for an exciting, challenging and rewarding career in healthcare, this may be the opportunity you are waiting for. CCMA students will find great employment opportunities in our area.

Upon successful completion of this program, students are eligible to sit for the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) national examination.

Please note that class location, clinical sites, and schedules will vary given the unstable situation within the healthcare system.. We are working with local healthcare organizations to determine course tuition and the fees have not yet been set.

Please call either program to put your name on the interest list for this class. Classes will run based on enrollment, so get your name on the interest list soon to receive up-to-date information as it becomes available.
