Description
If you love working with animals, take the first step toward a new career as a Veterinary Assistant with the NAVTA-approved Veterinary Assistant program at Penn Foster College. This program will teach you the essential knowledge needed to assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians—from basic skills, such as animal handling and restraint, to specialized skills, such as radiology and pharmacology. At the end of the program, you’ll be able to obtain animal health histories and records, provide specialized nursing care, and assist in surgical procedures.
