Description
This Certified Nursing Assistant program includes integrated math skill training plus a paid apprenticeship with a local employer, Genesis Healthcare. Training hours include, at a minimum, 90 hours of theory, 20 hours of lab instruction, and 70 hours of clinical study required for the State of Maine CNA curriculum, plus up to an additional 25 hours of basic skills training. Students do not need to have a high school diploma in order to start the program. However, those that do not must also enroll concurrently in HiSET training.
