Description
This workforce training program moves students from the classroom to employment in fourteen weeks.
Students are co-enrolled in the 100-hour WorkReady program, that includes computer skills and sector specific healthcare curriculum, along with the 180-hour Certified Nursing Assistant program.
Students learn the soft and hard skills to become fully employed by participating in workforce preparedness activities, including: resume and cover letter writing, mock interviews, conflict resolution role plays, etc.
In addition, students develop proficiency in the state approved Certified Nursing Assistant curriculum.
The program culminates with 70 hours of clinical experience, in partnership with local employers.
