Description
Northern Penobscot Tech Region III Adult Ed is offering a Welding Technology program to Adults with certifications in Shield Metal Arc Welding (SMAW)-structural, SMAW Pipe and Flux Cored Arc Welding (FCAW)- Structural. The course objective is for students to gain entry level employment in the welding field as well as making each student a proficient structural welder. Students will also learn field and shop safety, basic fitting skills and blueprint reading. 750 hr. course includes 3 AWS Certifications and 300 hr. course includes 1 AWS Certification. 750 hr/$12K /300 hr/$4,500. 300 hr course starting Feb. 6, 2017
